I wrote this song in September of 2010 over the course of a weekend. The majority of this was actually written while I was at work. Being a server in a dead restaurant was bad for tips, but gave me enough spare time to work on songs. I had brought my ukulele into work and just started jamming and writing down what I liked.
I uploaded an incredibly basic version of the song (my first song upload) and left it alone.
I came back to this song after I had learned a lot more in terms of producing music in June 2012. I decided to give it an island feel; I feel it suits the song well.
